Largest town in the region. Things to do in Murska SobotaThe Castle in the centre of the city park is well worth a visit. It will give you a good feel for the history of the region. Cost is around 2 euros and all information boards include English. One of the guides on duty also speaks excellent English. Allow 2 hours to see it all. Further information available in English at: www.pok-muzej-ms.si Na Kujkli (“English Pub”): Many of the English who have houses in the area meet in this pub, particularly at 10 am on a Sunday. There is also a new cinema and two bowling allies. (Films are usually in English with Slovene subtitles). |
